Experience the resonant grounding of being at home within yourself in this restorative workshop balancing steadiness (sthira) and ease (sukha). Sarah will weave together gentle asana, hands-on assists, and pranayama with essential oils. Practicing passive stretches, deepening our breath, utilizing props, and staying in these poses for longer helps to release protective holding patterns and to relieve dense connective tissue and muscular adhesions. This very clear, clean time opens us to greater receptivity, tenderness, and listening. It also balances our whole selves by supporting the parasympathetic ("rest and digest") nervous system. Students will leave with greater buoyancy and deeper reserves—physically, energetically, and emotionally.
